Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist Jack Ford discusses and signs "Chariot on the Mountain," his novel based on little-known true events, recreating a treacherous journey toward freedom two decades before the Civil War. The novel is a testament to determination, friendship, and courage.
Ford is a television journalist, having worked as an anchor/correspondent for Court TV, ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News. He has received two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and an American Radio and Television Award.
This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase.
