Authors at Your Library: Jack Ford

Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist Jack Ford discusses and signs Chariots on the Mountain, his novel based on little-known true events, recreating a treacherous journey toward freedom two decades before the Civil War. The novel is a testament to determination, friendship, and courage.

Ford is a television journalist, having worked as an anchor/correspondent for Court TV, NBC News, ABC News, and CBS News. He has received two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, and an American Radio and Television Award.

Used Book Sale


Mark your calendars! The library’s annual book sale starts this Thursday, May 9 at 4:00 PM. The sale will include hundreds of previously used books as well as many in like-new condition. From children’s board books and picture books to teen and adult fiction and non-fiction, there is something for every age group. A variety of media items including DVDs and audiobooks will be available as well.

Library Renovation Update

We're approaching the end of our renovation!

Our new computer area is all set up and already in use. The new carpet has been laid and the walls are freshly painted. We have new shelving for our New Books.
