Authors at Your Library: Jesse Donaldson

Jesse Donaldson discusses and signs On Homesickness: A Plea (In Place).
Donaldson was born and raised in Kentucky, attended Kenyon College and Oregon State University, and was a fellow at The Michener Center for Writers in Austin, Texas. His writing has appeared in The Oxford American, The Greensboro Review, and Crazyhorse. He is also the author of the novel The More They Disappear.
Copies of author’s books available for purchase at event.

Authors at Your Library: Jesse Donaldson

Jesse Donaldson discusses and signs On Homesickness: A Plea (In Place) on Monday, October 23 at 6 PM.

Donaldson was born and raised in Kentucky, attended Kenyon College and Oregon State University, and was a fellow at The Michener Center for Writers in Austin, Texas. Star Wars Reads Day!

You won't want to miss this outdoor event as the Emperor leads the forces of the Galactic Empire to the Library.

The Library Awakens 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Meet members of the 501st Legion and other friends and have your photo taken with characters from a galaxy far, far away.

Impressive, Most Impressive Costume Contest 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Dress in your Star Wars finery and you could win prizes. Contest is open to all ages.

Louisville Jedi Academy 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Whether you're a Jedi or a Sith, here's a hands-on opportunity to learn some impressive lightsaber moves in this interactive program.
