Beginning the first week of April, Barr Memorial Library will start looking a little different. Not only is there a reconfiguration of the computer area in the works, but the main floor of the library will also have some small changes.
The main floor of the library will be updated with new paint and carpeting. Additionally, repurposed shelving will replace most of the current furniture, making it easier for patrons to locate DVDs, Blu-rays, and Video Games. The computer area will be expanded from the current thirty-four computers to fifty, including five that will be on the military network.
While the renovation is ongoing, the computer area will be temporarily moved into the Meeting Room. The Library's programs will occur as scheduled, but will be relocated to other rooms of the library as needed.
