Teen Tuesdays

We will continue with Teen Tuesdays this summer, but, beginning June 5 and running through mid-July, all will have a "food" theme tied to Teen Summer Reading - "Reading is So Delicious."
 Teens in the 9th to 12th grade should join us for the fun Tuesdays at 3:00 PM.

New York Times Bestselling Author Jen Lancaster will be speaking as part of the Authors at Your Library program Thursday, October 18 at 6:30 PM.

Ms. Lancaster is a former vice president at an investor relations firm and a New York Times bestselling author of books such as Bitter is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered Smartass, Or, Why You Should Never Carry A Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office and Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest to Discover If Her Life Makes Her Ass Look Big, or Why Pie Is Not the Answer.

Her new book - Jeneration X: One Reluctant Adult's Attempt to Unarrest Her Arrested Development; Or, Why It's Never Too Late for Her Dumb Ass to Learn Why Froot Loops Are Not for Dinner - will be released next month.

Food Fight to Kick Off Reading Is So Delicious Summer Reading Program

Bring an appetite for reading, food and fun to this year’s Summer Reading program, which kicks off May 31 at 6:30 PM with Food Fight, an interactive family program.  The program, which features puppets based on food items, is the beginning of 2012 Summer Reading Program—Reading is So Delicious.  

This program  will be the first chance for eager readers to pick up their summer reading folders.   This year readers of all levels, including children, teens and adults will have delicious opportunities to satisfy interest in reading and have fun doing so.
