New Nook Titles
Barr Memorial Library has added 44 new items to its circulating Nook Color collection. The list include several YA books, as well as a mix of fiction and nonfiction from some of the authors that will be visiting the Library in the coming months as part of our Authors at Your Library series.

Construction Update #2; New entrance to open 9/9@9!
Customers will feel the benefit of construction beginning this Tuesday, September 9, at 9 a.m. That's when the new Library entrance from Dixie Street, conveniently located right off the parking lot, will open for the first time. This will become a permanent entrance and exit for customer ease of access. A new bookdrop has been installed there for convenience as well when the Library is closed.
The main entrance will close Monday, September 8, at 7:30 for replacement of its overhang.
The clerestory window replacement project is complete, with only small touch ups to do inside the building.
Roof replacement continues.

Library Construction Update #1
Construction is in full swing at Barr Memorial Library!
As work proceeds on the clerestory windows in the atrium section of the Library there will be some disruption to our computer area:
From Wednesday, June 25, through Friday, June 27, approximately 14 of computers will be unavailable.
From Friday, June 27, through Tuesday, July 1, there will be NO fax capabilities.
From Thursday, July 3, through Tuesday, July 7, approximately 11 computers will be out of service. We have added 18 computers in the Meeting Room to make up for this.
