Database Highlights
Barr Library is pleased to bring you a new monthly series highlighting different databases available through the Library's Databases webpage.
This month will focus on the Gale Virtual Refernce Library.
This database could be particularly useful for Travel as you don't usually find travel guides in databases as well as Medicine because it includes several books in the Health Reference Series as well as books on specific ailments that you're not going to find as easily in one of the more serious medical databases. The History section is also quite well rounded.
This month will focus on the Gale Virtual Refernce Library.
This is a nice aggregator for encyclopedias and other reference type materials covering a wide variety of topics including: •Arts •Biography •Business •Education •Environment •General Reference •History •Law •Literature •Medicine •Multicultural Studies •Nation and World •Religion •Science •Social Science •Technology •Travel.
